Q: Why do I have to register?

Registration is required in order to report scores, create a league, or participate in the message boards. In the case of score reporting and league administration, e-Mail correspondence is required in order to insure accuracy of results. In the case of message boards, registration provides a measure of accountability rather than permitting anonymous postings. You do not have to register to view game results.

Q: How does the registration process work?

Upon making a request to register, you are asked for a username and an e-Mailaddress. You need to supply a valid e-Mail address because confirmation of your registration will come to you via e-Mail. Upon receiving the e-Mail message, you are asked to confirm your registration by clicking on the link provided. The link returns you to the website where you are asked to log in using the password provided in the e-Mail. After a successful login, you are asked to immediately change your password.

Q: What is a league administrator?

The league administrator is responsible for setting up the league by establishing the league name, sport, country, state/province, level, and gender. The administrator is also responsible for authorizing score reporters, and maintaining the accuracy of league standings.

Q: Who can become a league administrator?

Anyone can administrate a league. This website assumes it is in the league's interest to have an administrator who acts on behalf of the league.

Q: How do I become a league administrator?

To become an administrator you need only register and then select "Create a League". You will be asked to establish the league's settings. Ideally you will establish a corps of score reporters - perhaps one (or several) from each team so all game results will be submitted in a timely fashion.

Q: How do I become a reporter?

To become a reporter you must first register. Then select the menu pick "Become a Reporter". After choosing the league you wish to report to, you will be prompted to send an e-Mail message to the league's administrator. In the e-Mail message you should explain to the admin who you are and why you should be approved to report to the league. The administrator will then either approve or reject your application via e-Mail.

Q: Can I report to more than one league?

Yes. There are no limits on how many leagues you can report to.

Q: Can I administrate more than one league?

Yes. There are no limits on how many leagues you can administrate.

Q: As a league administrator, what do I do if scores are being reported inaccurately?

As the administrator, you can delete any score reported to your league. Further, you have access to the e-Mail address of every registered user you have approved for reporting. Initially, send an e-Mail message to the reporter asking for accurate scores. Failing that, you have the ability to delete the reporter from your league.

Q: What if the sport of my league is not currently offered on the www.allthescores.info website?

You should send an e-Mail request to the webmaster asking for your sport to be added to the site. If is feasible, the input form will be added as quickly as possible.

Q: What is the difference between the League e-Mail address list and the Personal e-Mail address list?

The league administrator maintains a list of e-Mail addresses that every score reported to the league is sent to. Each reporter maintains a personal list of e-Mail addresses to which his or her scores are sent to. An entry made in the personal list is checked against the league list to avoid duplication.
